Welcome all Clan Gunn members old and new!

Hard to believe Its's already 2020.  You have my solemn promise to work tirelessly as your newly elected President.

I would like to personally thank our past President, Dave Ziemer, for all his hard work over the past three years and welcome all newly elected officers. I look forward to working with each and every one of you.

I would encourage all Gunn members to attend as many of the Highland Games as possible in and around your area. We have a list of Commissioners on our website that can assist with games attended. I would also encourage all Gunn members to keep their memberships up to date as well as signing up Family members, this helps keep our Clan strong!

Over the last 10 years I have personally seen Clan Gunn grow in popularity and membership. Let's keep this tradition moving forward!

More information regarding our AGM and special events for the year will posted on my new message page listed below.

Celebrate Tartan Day April 6 every year.

Wear the Tartan on this day in observance of the Declaration of Arbroath - the Scottish Declaration of Independence signed in 1320 at Arbroath Abbey on the east coast of Scotland.

"We fight not for glory nor for wealth nor honors; but only and alone we fight for freedom, which no good man surrenders but with his life."

CLAN GUNN 60th Diamond Celebration!!

The Council of the Clan Gunn Society has decided to postpone its 60th celebrations at the Castle of Mey until the weekend of 26th -28th March 2021 due to Covid 19. This is largely due to the social distancing requirements in Scotland whereby the Castle of Mey are restricted to being only able to allow 15 people at a time in the castle and in the dining room.

Though disappointed to have to postpone it (yet again), we very much hope that it will be third time lucky in March 2021!

Also: Plans to hold a full International Gathering in 2022 still on!

Please see below-noted link for ALL info:
